Uneccesary managerial sacking mid-season to negative effect.

More likely a necessary sacking as we're sat well in the bottom half. Crowds will be down as the realisation hits than MON really only played Carvalho for few weeks to enhance his sale value. A return to hoofball sees us just above the relegation zone. Murphy starts even more games than he did this season.

Nice to to hear you sound so confident of MON not getting replaced pre-season

17th. MON sacked in October as we drop into the bottom 3. Pardew takes over and avoid relegation at the start of April.

    Darren Gibson captains us.

    AUTOMATIC PROMOTION.

I honestly think we have a serious shout of Top 2 with the loser of Villa/Derby joining us..
    Hear me out...

Fulham, Huddersfield and Cardiff...The wheels will fall off of at least 2 of them, they all look shells of what made them Premier League material - and lets face it Cardiff were very average in the first place.

WBA and Middlesbrough are without managers and I think on a downward turn, especially Middlesbrough...I think a year of transition for both.

Leeds Utd...after the shitshow of the last 2 weeks I predict a complete meltdown at the worst club in english football.

And as for the rest. Wednesday? Swansea? Hull? Stoke? Blackburn? Brentford? one or two will be in the mix I'm sure, but this looks like a year for the taking.

Voted top 6, do the business in summer and we can challenge for top 2.

See Tommy’s post for my reasoning as he wrote it better than I would have managed.

My optimism at the beginning of last season got me nowhere and was way off so I'm going with staving off relegation and hoping for the same reverse on reality.

    10th-14th.

Might change my mind depending on transfer business.

Well it won’t be Bolton again, so against whoever replaces them.

The three coming down will all be awash with parachute money & come again. Warnock has every team firing & Parker looks like he's got something, Brom have good enough players if they get the right man & Boro have been held back by Pulis.

All in all, if we're assessing teams on this seasons showing, then having us top two is optimistic to say the least.

Depends who we bring in but with MON leading the way I can't see us setting the league alight.

Probably finish 7th. MON binned in Jan and replaced by Daniel Farke.

Too early to predict really, see where we are after a few transfers. We won't get automatic promotion though. I don't think we'll get top 6 either.

Hard to assess Parker based on a few decent results when the pressure is off, I wouldn't be surprised if Fulham changed managers again anyway. Huddersfield are shit. Cardiff will do well with Warnock in charge. I don't think Boro are anything special even without Pulis. West Brom will do well if they appoint Hughton.

Top 2 will definitely be up for grabs, though we are someway off that standard as things stand.
