Of course. Atromitos stadium in Peristeri (official announcement: http://www.atromitosfc.gr/el/news-el.../8360-13.html; location: https://goo.gl/maps/jLZDCXNmXRQrdCFG9), and our stadium at Faliro (official announcement: https://www.olympiacos.org/2019/05/1...gxam-forest/#; location: https://goo.gl/maps/8FMbdrgLZVqFFdf47))

What sort of crowd is likely for a pre season friendly Karteo?

What side will Marinakis be on? The only time a half/half scarf is acceptable.

Ace! I hope I can get my summer holidays that week. I went to Atromitos twice this year, I consider them my Greek team. Our Greek apartment is one metro stop away!

I kinda disagree with GBG. This game will be probably the first and last preseason friendly in our stadium before the qualifying games for Champions League. It is also before the great summer vacations escape which starts at the end of July and August

I'm looking at going to this if I can get 2 days off from work.

Should be really good and only cost at best £300 for flights and accommodation.

I still find it odd how lazy the reporting on things related to Forest are in the British press. Details have been officially announced and the Post still knows nothing. OK, I don't expect Taylor to go through the Greek press regarding the friendlies in Greece, but one would expect a reporter to pick up his phone, ask around and then, well, report.

Maybe in a week's time the Post will report it, citing their 'Greek sources'. Which means they read yours and Karteo's comments on here.

If it was the details of a transfer move, I would understand both the club putting a lid on reporting and the reporter being discreet. But we're talking about basic information here, and I'm sure no one in the club would refrain from replying to Taylor if he had bothered to ask. How difficult is it? Instead of writing three articles per day with the same vague content and no information value, insight or interest for anyone, just pick up the phone and ask: Hey, when and where exactly will the friendlies take place? Who will travel? Has any one from the club been to Greece recently? Will the youth teams go as well?

Is that too much to ask from a Forest reporter?

We do seem to be keeping this very low-key for some reason.

It was inevitable (and, frankly, practical) for us to play each other at some stage- in fact Iím surprised it didnít happen last season. Why shell out good money on a warm weather training camp when we can use Olympiacosí state of the art facilities. Whatís more, the club must be aware that the two clubsí supporters have built an informal relationship online too (GBG and Karteo being such valued contributors on here for example, and I know Iím not the only one who keeps an eye out for Olympiacosí results) so it is always likely to garner more interest than us playing a lower mid-table La Ligament side at some training complex in La Manga.

Wonder what the reason for it is?

Any updates on the preseason game with Posh in La Manga that was announced by them? I think it was reported as being on 6 July.
