Anyone who doesn't want Benny & Cash here is crackers. Neither cost us a bean, both making significant contributions this season.

I also think those stats tell you all you need to know about Lolley. We need at least 3 or 4 of those players to be genuine promotion contenders.

Stats from Who scored have proved tenuous in the past. They at least need context, notably how they stack up against other teams.

Do them stats show Cash in a particularly positive light anyway?

Bennys on the line that says he's okay, but is he good enough to excel in one position. Can we get better? Id say Cash is currently under that line.

Can we get better? Not for what we'll sell them for, so it's a pointless exchange.

Both players are perfectly fine for what should be support roles in the squad. The trouble is the squad needs more Lolleys.

Why waste money on replacing support players, as opposed to just buying the actual quality players we need for promotion?

Next year I personally want to see a core of genuine quality promotion player (Lolley, Grabban, McGinn, Dowell etc.) back by the committed Forest lads in Cash, Benny, Worral, Yates etc.

We're chasing our tails again if we think shipping the likes of Cash & Benny out to replace them with Soudani's, Dias', Gonch's etc. is going to do anything else other than waste a year.

    Long Passes:

    Adlene Guedioura - 7

Defence-Splitting Long Passes of a frankly filthy, pornographic nature:

    Adlene Guedioura - 7

Yates only 1.9 fouls per game? He must have committed a negative amount of fouls in the matches I haven’t watched then!

He makes lots of hard but fair challenges, against Sheffield Wednesday he made 3 crunchers that left the player on the ground without committing a foul. He is very good at the things he does well and if he ups his distribution has the potential to be a very good player.

I'm really pleased with how he has come on since he has got into the team. Picking out some nice passes too.

It certainly is a case of knowing your own game and knowing your limitations. I think Yates, Worrall and Osborn know them and are mature in their performances. I think that is where Cash needs to improve and it isn't being negative. I think it is just the type of player he is but no doubt he will need to call a position home other than a wide-forward and I am confident centre-mid or right wing-back will be them. There were times Cash frustrated on Saturday but there was also a moment he springboarded from our own box to their box in seconds using a 1-2 and his direct running or using his involvement in our goal v QPR.

    These stats aren't reliable.

Context, I'm reliably informed, is to allow for 3 wins and 3 clean sheets in a row to be disregarded and for a club record goalless run being to be fine because as long as you don't concede you get points.

I've read that on here so it must be true..

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

There's context to both, otherwise you've got folk queuing up to sack a manger trying to sort out a defensive shitfest before he takes us to the edge of the playoffs, scoring five at Villa & three at Norwich.

You'd also have folk queueing up to tell you three wins, including two dead rubbers against dross opposition means we're winning the league next season.

a very good point throw in walker, appiah and we have a lot of subs/ players capable of playing a match or 2. too expect new signings specifically to sit on the bench is asking a bit much. imagine if we had actually forked out the couple of million they wanted for Mcginn? him and colback in midfield would be the best central midfield in the league by a country mile.
