    Christ I’m such a saddo.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Went for Elano instead of Geovanni. I should have thought more about that one.

    Gutted.

18/20, guessed one right at the end. Never heard of Geovani or John Bostock.

All those years of playing FM and browsing random players pages has paid off... the one that caught me out the most was the Patrick Berger one.

I almost did too but Hull was the clincher. I can't even remember him playing for Man City, only for Hull.

That was easy. Could’ve got all 20 without the choices.

Mind you, this would probably be my specialist subject on mastermind. Like Rza,I’ve spent far too much time on Football Manager.

I was actually looking at John Bostock’s wiki page about a week ago hahaha

Elano started at Santos, same team as Robinho. He played right-back

Geovanni is one that tripped me up, and I also managed to get Reo-Coker wrong.

I got 15 but I'd got it into my thick head that Michael Chopra played for Leeds

20/20. It’s funny because 10 years back I had a good knowledge of pointless footballers, 20 years ago my knowledge was almost encyclopaedic. Yet nowadays players get called in to the England squad and I don’t recognise them

16/20. Had a couple where I could rule one out and still managed to pick the wrong choice out of 2, every time!

    I last played Championship/Football Manager in 2013.

My birthday's coming up and I asked my brother to buy me Football Manager 2019. Thought it would be handy enjoyment for boring hours. But then I had second thoughts and decided against it. That game absorbs you, takes over your whole life. You'd be up all night playing it. And of course you can't go to bed unless you win your last match.

it's way more addictive when you pretend you're playing as Billy Davies too

Falling out with everyone, getting the sack, then watching the football world pass you by?
