Winger worth a punt?

Has played in the Prem too.
31 this year so not someone we'll get many years from, but at the right price he's a winger who can do it at this level.
Having almost left the club in the summer, there were suspicions that following a January transfer window that again failed to see Kamil Grosicki move on, the Polish international could sulk and not show the necessary application and attitude.
That has never been the case and to his credit, the winger has been terrific this year.
All expectation is the midfielder will finally depart this summer, with City not looking for a large transfer fee, but more likely needing to get the player off a reduced wage bill. But he’s going out in great form and with his reputation most certainly enhanced.

Sub player why not, we need a decent sub to fight with Lolley and Cash, ideally splash the cash on Bowen then we'd have 2 fantastic wingers and 2 very good subs.
More chance of Camila Alves
More chance of Kamil Toe.
More chance of throwing a sickie.
Stand Firm And Strike Hard
Good shout. Always liked him when I've seen him play. Good old-fashioned tricky winger with an eye for a goal. Plenty of international caps too.
Forgive my ignorance, but are we being linked with this bloke?

He will cost a lot more but I would much rather see us go for Jarrod Bowen, he's a much better player and is still only 22.
+1 for Bowen

Bowen will be off to a Premier League club and will be well out of our price range.
Southampton for one are after Bowen, we couldn’t afford the fee or the wages. Maybe one day we’ll be able to grab more like him before they make a big impact.
I saw Bowen in his early days and thought he was ok but nowt special. He has obviously prove me wrong and has too strong seasons with a good return of goals. As some have said he is out of our range now. If Leeds go up I could see him heading there as there has been interest apparently.
Regarding grosicki. On his day he is a menace but lacks end product. He thinks he is better than he is and is only playing to get a move away. Not the attitude we need for me.
Grosicki's wage is in the £30k-£40 region which would see us having to fork out at least £2m up front and probably the same again (or more) in wages over 2-3 years.
Expensive for a back-up with no resale value.

Will get the hump if left on the bench
If this lad gets injured it's bactrian drawing board.
Nixon reckons we want him at £2.5m.
The issues are obviously big wages and the fact he's 30 as RedTe pointed out a few weeks ago.
Alf called this last month. Fair play.
2.5m's a bit more than I'd have expected tbh. Perfect attitude for a MON side tho.
Would ideally like to land him at 1-1.5m. Maybe offload someone like Ward their way to pad the deal out.
Ward has already been released so he's no longer our problem...
£2.5m for the stats he's producing is cheap in my opinion (assuming he can reproduce them going forward). The issue would be if he is on the big wages, but I've done a bit of research and the only figures I can find for his Hull wages are between £18k-25k.
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spor...osicki-2863504Grosicki will be City’s highest earner by some distance next term, commanding wages in the region of £25,000-a-week for the final 12 months of a contract signed midway through the Tigers’ last spell in the Premier League.
If that is the case he can stay at Hull and take his £25k for one more year and leave himself a free agent but with another year on his age (which it doesn't seem like he wants to do) or perhaps take a bit less per week but get something like a 3+ year contract here?
