Linked again according to a source in Scotland (via the Nottingham Post) but Celtic also heavily linked this morning.

Interestingly their fans don't seem happy at all about it.

    Yeah article here: http://www.sport.pl/pilka/7,65080,25...jelo-dwie.html

Wants more than he was on at Hull which was a lot and a long contract at 31, not sure I'd go for it:

"Now the decision belongs to Grosicki, who intends to negotiate a contract that is favorable for him. I certainly don't want to earn less (currently has a weekly £ 24,000) than at KCOM Stadium. He also wants a relatively long contract"

If he wants a long contract he’s coming to us, sure we’ll sort him out financially

Got to think with Nuno signing and Walker returning, maybe WBA have already agreed terms with him. Nuno can play through the middle and wide, but it'll start to become overkill with more.

    Unless Adomah is now banished?

Selling or loaning Carvalho to Oly?

Maybe. if he's not going to get played, a loan somewhere won't hurt, needs to enjoy it again.

WBA now just linked to Atsu from Newcastle too.

    They do seem desperate.

Although the players West Brom are signing/trying to sign are all good on paper, I have to question the wisdom in trying to bring in so many players in a short space of time mid-season.

Feels a bit like they are in panic mode, I expected them to be active this window but a huge influx of signings could have the opposite effect of what they are hoping for.

Let's be honest if it's down to wages it'll be West Brom.

Most likely, especially if they are in full shit-or-bust mode.

They're definitely in panic mode, they have 3 points from their last 6 games, we have 14 from ours.

Still, their current squad got them up there in the first place. A bit of a kick in the teeth for some of those players that it seems that the club want to bring in a bunch of players to replace them.

It could very well blow up in their faces.

They're getting 10m for their RB Nathan Ferguson, which you would imagine they would reinvest before the end of the window?

It's all about Diangana for them, on loan from West Ham. Since he got injured they've gone to pieces.

That Polish journo is reporting Grosicki has agreed a 2.5 year deal with WBA now so he'll be 33/34 by the time that ends and probably on close to 30k a week.

Relies a lot on pace too. I know footballers over 30 aren’t finished like of old but still the pace can go at different times.
