Ipswich of course also famously won the 1981 UEFA Cup, under legendary Manager Bobby Robson, a time when British teams were frankly pissing all over their European counterparts.

Not to come across as corny, but we've got try and gain some tractor-sion and harvest the three points here, by making hay while the sun shines. We can't afford to come a crop-per against this lot or let them give us a dusting.

We need to make sure we get the ball to Lolley and let him go on his Maize-y runs and hog-tie the defenders. An attacking approach is needed, as Ipswich couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, or indeed, the side of a barn.

Well then we need to field a team which can green shoot on sight, otherwise we'll barley make top half of the table.

They have been much better over the past month, but still aren't winning games.

I don't think we will lose it but I see it being a draw.

Favorite memory of Ipswich is bumming them 5-0 at Wembley and taking over 2sides of their ground & invading the pitch when we went down in 93

Portman Road was the first all-seater stadium in the UK.

    Thought it was Aberdeen

    Yes.

Itís what the Europa League used to be, before they fucked it up.

Winning a European Trophy in the 70s/80s was a big deal.

Especially for a club like Ipswich, it was a massive achievement, under perhaps the greatest ever English team Manager, Bobby Robson.

Yep. The UEFA Cup is the old name for the Europa League.

You may be right there. Done a bit more research and I think Portman Road was the first to be converted to all-seater after the Taylor Report. Coventry was all-seater already.
