    Default The City Ground

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/...d=tmg_share_em

Still the 17th best stadium in Premier League history. According to this list anyway.

    Needs a refurb though.

Love the idea of it being extended and the council building bought and used alongside.

Would be a shame to move.

It wouldn't be the same anywhere else would it? That said...

Swagman probably has the number plate NG25 FJS (Forest postcode plus S for Swaggers) reserved for its issue in 2025. Expect the club to move in 2024 as a consequence just to annoy him.

Fear not, Swaggers will have bought the club and fucked off Fawaz and Co by 2020.

Anyway don't need a number plate for my push bike so that's a non starter.

Pointless wasting money on things you do not need.

Tell you what, that main stand is a proper pigsty of a crumbling shed (thought TE was bad), it is a proper disgrace for the amount supporters pay for the privilege of the squalor.

I love its history but I got rained and dripped on during the game (upper seating) and a few around me had to put their coats/hoods (including yours truly) on to protect them from the elements.

I begrudgingly paid 3.80 for a pint at HT and perused the surroundings all around, the stand is something out of farm outbuilding in the 18th century, it's filthy and folk are wandering around like cattle trying to find a dryspot, them ductings from the cookhouses that masquerade as eateries have not seen a scrubbing brush since the late 70's, fucking absolute disgrace.

It must be detrimental to human health? 100% shithole for the fans whilst the 'gods' and 'superstars' on the pitch are paid every last penny of income and if that's not enough, put the club in financial peril by fleecing the club of millions of pounds extra that the club can no way sustain.

Oooooohhh makes my fuckin blood boil.

Too many special memories for me to want to move to another location - heart rate picks-up a few beats every time I cross Trent Bridge. Great if we could see the old Gal given a facelift and dragged into the 21st Century.

Good job you only need to spend 105 mins there every couple of weeks then.. Put it like this, football = shit beer and shit food, just stand there and take it all in, the rusty roof and the dodgy gutters (what a beautiful place the city ground is).. History, charm, location, one thing Fawaz hasn't fucked up yet!!

The Reebok at 14?!? That list has lost all credibility right there.

Swaggers already has a private registration number, pointless having another.

    5LAG, seems quite appropriate.

That's point 1 of Swagman's manifesto for when he buys out Fawaz. Back to the drawing board.

    Oi!

Don't tell everyone my plans, yoof, otherwise how can I fleece people out of their hard earned money.

No drum anyway, going for those annoying clapper things instead. Can get loads of Swaggers advertising all over them while creating a better atmosphere than some bloody stupid drum.

If we've learned one thing from Fawaz it is that the absence of a plan need not be an obstacle to attempting to fleece people.

That could actually be brilliant. If only
I wasn't so old and knackered.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

If there is a genuine interest in LTLF to do it I would be happy to organise it.
