I didn't exactly mean we should not get any money for the front of the shirt by giving it to a hospice or other charity.

I thought EM would put the equivalent amount in to the club (a bit like Fawaz, but without the fridges) and gain the kudos for doing so.

How much revenue does a shirt sponsor bring in these days?

I'm not sure if you can just give the club money like that as otherwise it circumvents the FFP rules

So given that, who would be happy to spend 」1-2m a season less on transfers, wages, whatever, in order for our shirt sponsor to be a charitable cause?

I suppose the answer would have to be yes if the club could afford to lose it.

I suspect we are going through a phase where the detailed planning application is being prepared. You probably won't hear much until that goes to the County planning commitee.

The amount of asbestos in that stand won't be easy to get rid of, fly tip the fucker in Derby somewhere I imagine. That's what we've always done.

"Nice boat club you've got there...would be a pity if it ... went up .."

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Work ain’t supposed to start until end of next season so no immediate rush and I would expect that contracts are being arranged for various contractors already.
