Obviously there's going to come a time where thoughts/feelings will be asked.

Personally, things that are important to me are:

    - Make it RED. I'm not saying have a big bright red stadium, but make as much as possible red/white and with emblems on. I love it when the stadium is covered in red. Look at the sponsor boards/achievement boards atm. All Garibali Red. Looks amazing. So much better than steel/grey/concrete.

    - Make it easy to clean. Until recently the stadium has been filthy, and it's embarrassing seeing it in a poor state. Something that's clean all year round and looks fresh.

    - Acoustics. Let's focus on making it acoustically sound, echos of songs/noise, as we saw on Monday, good atmosphere's work wonders. Promote and embrace a good atmosphere.

    - Distance from the pitch. I understand if it's UEFA complaint, it might have to be a certain distance away from the pitch. But one of my biggest issues with new stadiums/stands, is they're miles away from the pitch. Make it as close to the pitch as is permitted. Again, it supports a positive atmosphere.
Personally I really hope they clad or paint those large concrete pillars that hold up the rear of the BC stand. They are so depressing and currently it makes it look like a prison or even the old Players factory, let's face it that was an eyesore too.

I just want some decent coffee.

If the new Peter Taylor Stand includes somewhere that I can get a decent caffeinated beverage, I shall be a happy man.

If I can acquire something of this standard in my office building:

Then the WFCG should be a formality.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Do you have a local Lidl that does 1 Euro coffee from a machine?

Genuinely the best take away coffee i've ever had. (i've got cheap taste).

I was once told that in the Stadium of Light corporate area everything is Red and White - apart from the toilets which are black and white. Even the cucumber sandwich brigade get to shit on Newcastle

I do indeed, there’s one down the road from my apartment.

Although I prefer the takeaway coffee in the Tegut Supermarkt that I often use (Tegut is sort of the German equivalent of Sainsbury’s).

If Lansbury's to be included then he needs to be in full golfing gear

Yes, yes, make this happen. It gives the opportunity to have Keano in the background using his 4 iron driving prawn sandwiches over the BC stand.

One thing we do have bear in mind is that the away allocation for home FA Cup games will have to go up considerably as well. 15% of 38,000 is 5,700, that’s going to need both tiers of the Bridgford End or some of the lower Clough stand as the ground currently exists.

    Interesting times.
For the single round that we are in it...the FA cup seating issue, i can live with

Happened ar both Cardiff and Swansea, you had folk buy season tickets for the Liverpool, United Chelsea and Arsenal games then they passed on the tickets for the other matches.

You'd imagine it would be James Perch making a slide tackle. John Thompson would be backing off away from everyone in the room.

Have noticed driving around Lady Bay with the BC Stand as a backdrop on a grey day that it feels like I've driven behind the iron curtain.

I’d like to see the whole thing lit up with (er low energy) deep red lighting at night so it shines out like a beacon across the riverside. Something classy. Failing that 2 huge European cups in red lights just in case we forget to remind people.

Yes all the years of mediocrity in the two lower leagues has harmed us in attracting new support, but the few promotion pushes and cup runs have kept the flame alive amongst the established fans.
Getting people to come watch Everton, is a much easier sell than Wigan, Preston, Brentford and the long list of other lower division teams we've bought in big crowds for over the last few years. Being in the Premier League alone is far more exciting for the bulk of football fans, who don't know or care about how competitive the Championship is if they are being asked to come and watch the likes of Rotherham.

The Premier League on it's own is a big draw and whilst it's unlikely we'd sell out every week, it's not unreasonable to think based on the upwards trend of the last 2 seasons, and football in general, that the crowds would continue to increase in the Premier League.

Games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U, Spurs, Man City etc will sell out, as will Leicester as local rivals. So that's is already 7 of your 19 games. Then you will also get bumper crowds for the competitive games relative to what you are doing in the league and cup be at the bottom end fighting relegation, pushing for europe, a good cup run, or wherever. Once you get past those, you then have ticket offers and stuff that will help increase the crowds for the less in demand games. More people be they lapsed fans, day trippers, students, coffin dodging Notts County fans...will enticed by the ability to watch Premier League football. So it won't be sell outs every week, but the scope is there to drag more people through the gates with the right ideas, and of course top flight football.

I think the appetite for football in Nottingham is vastly underestimated and the new folks seem to be doing a great job of turning that round, after decades of failure to even acknowledge it.

So all round, increasing the attendance, if we do reach the Premier League makes perfect sense.
