That United shirt is horrific. Can’t remember it from the game. Maybe it just looked blue from the stands.
Having said that, the game wasn’t particularly memorable. The thing I remember most clearly was some Mancunian cnut in the seats behind repetitively saying “Peter” like some demented soul all game.
And the pre match sprint where Darren Wassal who’s represented Forest in the qualifying era couldn’t compete because he was in the team so Calvin Plummer took his place.
There was also Kevin something or other from county who was lightning fast and if I remember rightly Keith Curle from City.
Forest fans were cheering the Notts player where the United fans were booing Curle.
I remember thinking that summarised our view of the rivalry between Us & Notts

    It was:

This says it was Des Walker that should have run for Forest but I'm sure it was Wassall that was entered

Yeah. Showing my age, I remember watching the competition (Saint & Greavsie I think). It was Wassall for Forest. Bartlett was rapid though. Can't remember if he won the overall thing though?

Trying to Alf, thanks. Persuading the extended family to stay away from the house was difficult, especially the grandkids, but at least they seem to have finally got the message.

Notts County have put some classic matches on their Facebook page, Otis. If you get really bored we can have a watch party.

    ..of the famous Charles Brothers?

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
