I just don't enjoy seeing the same point made 50 times on 20 different threads.

It'll be the last one anyway.

Last line sounded quite sinister. Are you having Alf “dealt with”?

I reckon Esther is bunny-boiler material, definitely high-maintenance at best. Lorraine all the way, plus there's the added bonus that she has to get out of the house early to appear on TV so no morning-after awkwardness.

Antonee Robinson, a young American LB/LWB at Everton, previously on loan at Wigan. I've seen him linked with Bristol City, hopefully he's on our radar.

Would like him. Good player, athletic too.

I know you're supposed to be after Muric, but maybe there's another keeper in your radar as well. Oikonomidis twitted earlier that we are after and made a bid for Heinz Lindner, Austrian international, 28, with a full season at Grasshoppers but out of contract. He immediately struck me as a strange choice for no. 2 for us and the club hastened to deny that we made a bid for him or that we are interested.

Given that Oikonomidis has never been wrong in transfer news before, I wonder if his sources misled him as to which of EM's clubs made the bid.

He is also his countries first choice keeper. Guess time will tell.

I saw he tweeted that and then followed up with another that said Olympiacos had denied it. Did Lodygin go back to Russia?

No, but he declined the contract we offered him, publicly saying that he wants to go to a club where he will be a starter.

I suppose we'll see what happens, given MON and McDonagh were watching Muric though you'd guess he's first choice.

Seems like Doncaster press have said Sunderland, Millwall and QPR are the one's interested in Marquis.

Reportedly after left sided defender (can play left CB and LB) Nathan McGinley from Forest Green, one of those where 3 other teams are linked as well so not sure he deserves his own thread yet...

When I see articles like that it just screams agent/club trying to drum up interest to me.

More chance of Doing the Len Ganley Stance.

Just watched this. Played as LCB and looks to play football , puts his head on it and covers ground for tackles. With 3 at the back it is nice to have a natural left-footer on the left.

Pretty sure Martin actually spoke about being able to play on the left when speaking about Milosevic was it ? Didn't seem comfortable.

This is the kind of highly detailed, thoroughly thought out post that keeps LTLF relevant.

Would be seriously disappointed if we don't try sign Ryan Woods. Stoke keep signing midfielders and they say he can leave.

He is a west midlander too isn't he ?

    Woods would be ideal.

    From near Cannock.

Is Chris Woods still on this mortal coil?

Would be a cracking addition to the midfield. Expect the links to 35 year old, free agent Glenn Whelan to start at some point this week...

Whelan is a more than decent footballer with a good attitude - just a bit worried about his age.

He would certainly do a job for a year or so.
