No more shite from Olympiakos would be a nice start, Matt Derbyshire is the best thing they’ve ever gave us, just think about that for a second

We need a shit load of players yet again.

    GK
    LB
    RB
    Box to Box Midfielder
    1/2 Wingers
    1/2 Centre Forwards

That’s not including potentially losing Colback and Lolley.

We must be some of the worst recruitment in the country as we always need to bring in 29 players a year, and despite that we still have gaps everywhere lol

Freddie Woodman at Newcastle for goalkeeper. Talented and needs opportunity.

Or one of those 3 international keepers Burnley have, on loan.

Regardless of who is manager, we definitely need another pair of full backs, a winger (two if Lolley is sold) and another striker. What else we need beyond that largely depends on who is manager.

We should go for John Ruddy if possible, he won’t be first choice with Patricio at Wolves

Dourekas and Modesto were at the Old Trafford, where they met with Eric Abidal, now sporting director at Barcelona. Could be just a social meeting, but given recent rumours, it could also be Forest related.

Messi and Pele in the same team.

    Hmm.

Probably well out of our league and budget but shinji Okazaki is leaving Leicester on a free.

    He’d be an excellent signing.

Hopefully this is the summer we stop signing over-30's.

They'll be the only ones old enough to remember how to play O'Neill's style of football, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Who was the last team to get promoted with no over 30s in the team?

Clubs in the top six have an average age of around 28-29, so some of them must be over 30. There’s no substitute for experience.

You need a mix of all of them, just don’t over rely on one type

This year sould serve as an example that, no matter how many folk claim Warburton should have done it, you can't build an entire promotion side in the space of one window.

Whoever is the manager next season needs backing consistantly over several years. Even if we spend 30-40m, we've still got to settle, gel, assess & tweak.

This is a nice dream, but it bears no relation to reality, regardless of who the owner is.

The only scenario where a manager stays here for years is if he achieves promotion and comfortably avoids relegation the following few seasons.

    Nah.

If they can't get us up in the period from when they take over in late Jan - May with an assortment of players, most of whom they didn't want anyway, or get us promoted the following August - January having had a whole transfer window to add 3 or 4 players they do actually want then they're shit, their tactics are rubbish and we need to get a replacement because frankly, they will be taking us down.
