Sad that you are no longer with us, but glad that you are no longer getting the dogs abuse from Forest fans for trying your best.

Seems like a lifetime ago now

As one of his biggest critics on here I can genuinely say the grass certainly aint always greener.

    RIP ND.

    RIP.

Things aren't great, but don't find myself pining for the Doughty era. Very sad what happened though.

Died too young, and despite the failings when he was the owner (not all his I might add), I think it was infinitely better having a local owner who loved the Club, rather than some far distant mega-rich man who appears only to have his eyes on the return on investment.

    Any excuse:

But he saw some good times; the „And....CHELTENHAM HAVE SCORED!!“ match:

RIP Mr. Doughty. A humble man who tried to do right for his local club.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
