Centre mid I take it? 6ft and 27 years old.

Strange career so far. Been signed by Milan, Benfics and Monaco but been loaned out constantly, never playing for the first two so people must see something in him.

Not sure how much input MON has had with this one?. If it’s his choice it probably means he doesn’t fancy Gueds too much.
Physically looks an impressive unit. And although the obligatory YT video (which they normally end up being nothing like) shows him largely taking penalties although nothing groundbreaking in that it would suggest if he’s a nominated penalty taker he would have a modicum of confidence if nothing else.
I’m in the don’t have a clue category.

I think this one could actually be quite good. Ditch the oldies and lets go with power and energy.

    Finally.

    Pele signs for Forest.

It only takes a second to score a goal.

Thats how I see it, Watson coming in alongside Colback was a fairly clear sign MON doesn't fancy Yacob much. This guy seems to back that up.

This club has been crying out for a big black defensive midfielder that wants to kick fuck out of the oppostion for years. Just what the doctor ordered

Gueds looks to be a candidate to play further up.

Possible though, if Pele is as proactive as reported, then we could be looking to have him & Colback in another 442.

I'd say its all twitter bollocks he's got far too much to offer us in that area of the pitch. Keano will love him too.

    This.

Yacobs a cracking player, perfect for battles and I'm certain Martin and Roy will recognise this.

I hope and pray this guy is the rangey, athletic and powerful box-to-box CM we desperately need.

Re: Yacob. If it is more than speculation, you never know if a, he wants to be playing week in, week out at this time of his career and would rather move, or b, maybe he's got desires to move to a warmer climate?

    Time will tell.

I think I'd be inclined to not rely too much what people say on there WR.

Default Pelé (No, not that one..)

Should he be a MON signing I think we are switching to a physical 2 in centre of midfield. Not ones who are going to get caught on the ball like Gueds does too often imo. I think the ball carrying will come from out wide. So wouldn’t be surprised to see McClean come in.

Yacob is one of the first names on the team sheet imo. Would be a shock if he leaves, unless it's to fund other deals. But then cashing in on a squad player like Osborn would make more sense.

Cashing in on Ben Osborn would make perfect sense to me.
A fee of over £5m would be decent business imo.

Dont think he wants Colback & Yacob in the same team because neither have a forward pass conducive to our more direct style. Particularly Yacob.

Assuming thats accurate, its Colback v Yacob. Only one winner there & he's ginger.

Dont see Yacob involved beyond cover or locking things up towards the end of games. I'd guess he's not happy with that.

We need more than 11 players. Colback cant play every game.

I'd be happy with that too...as long as we can get in someone to play left-back and/or someone to play centre-back, so Robinson can move back to left back. With Fox gone, and all the injuries we're desperately short at the back and losing Osborn only weakens that further. Also on the condition that we're not swapping him for McClean as that move does not improve us.

There's one factor in Yacob's favour though. Colback is only on loan here and no guarantees that he'll lower his wage demands to make his stay permanent.
