You could see Don Estelle nearly lost it a few times with Windsor acting the Pratt behind him. Great stuff.

    From Carry On Behind:

Prof. Anna Vrooshka : Must be finding doctors. Man is injured.
Ernie Bragg : But what man?
Prof. Anna Vrooshka : Is professor of archaeology. Is bleeding terrible.
Fred Ramsden : Never mind his qualifications. Is he hurt badly?

    One of my favourite lines

    RIP Windsor

Apparently, it is said, the Beeb refuses to re-run the series because Michael Bates plays the Indian Majordomo which is deemed culturally insensitive now. Even though Bates (now dead) was born in India and spoke Urdu and Hindi.

....and the stars of "It aint half hot Mum" lose out on royalties.

I think Gary Glitter still gets his royalties, although not from the Beeb as they refuse to play his stuff.

I do believe "Sony Music" get all of Gary Glitter's royalties. I once spoke to John Rossall (founder member and still touring with the Glitterband) he told me about Sony Music. He also mentioned how music stations refuse to play Glitterband records to this very day because of their past associations with GG.

Rossall also said apart from live concerts, they saw very little of GG, even when touring GG distanced himself from the band.

Aye... regarding "it aint half Mum" I agree, shame they miss out.
