Like other players who we have actively disliked in the past, once he becomes our player and tears up and down the wing to good effect, attitudes may change, albeit reluctantly.

It is an emotive subject, as was observed, others may have a different view to yours and to avoid those emotions spilling out elsewhere keep it to this thread where those who don't want to get involved for any reason can steer clear.

I think that's a perfectly reasonable stance for the moderation team to take.

    Hope that's OK?
I think that might have been me that said those naughty things about McLean, I would apologise but I wonít because Iím not sorry & I meant it.

It's understandable that you don't get it, being an outsider.

When he played for us he didn't tear anything up best thing about him was the profit we made when he was sold to Stoke

I'd actually still take McClean on a 6 months loan.

I think Lamouchi would like him and he can play left-back too as cover for Yuri.

Unfortunately for him, itís not ended well for the Derryman:

ĄI believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialismď
