Edited to add, you are correct. I see they are keeping within the rules and showing Man United.
They're expecting a giant-killing with United progressing to the 4th round...

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

It will be whichever team draws Arsenal or Spurs.

I can understand them picking a big club away at a decent championship team as there is a chance. Reading at United offers zero chance of an upset, isn’t attractive to Utd fans, reading fans know they will lose 2 or 3 nil. Nobody wants to see that game.

I may be reading too much into it but don’t think we’ve claimed the full allocation allows in the FA Cup for Chelsea. This implies no season ticket holders will be displaced so I guess normal league allocation?

So it's looking like 30 quid then. Bit steep for me just after Christmas so it's a no from me.

What? Is that down to Forest not requesting more?

It'll be an expensive day - £57 just for return train journey! Plus £30 for ticket, plus £50 for beers and food = an expensive day out.

Thought it would be more than that. Sounds like a deal.

Nice to see Chelsea have embraced the spirit of the FA Cup and charged £30 a ticket.

Expensive but i'll still end up going.

Seriously? I was expecting it to be 5,000 or more, presumably Forest can request more once they've sold out.

Just says it’s our final and full allocation on the website and they expect a huge demand. I was hoping to go but would rather go to Millwall and Reading which sit either weekend of this game.

I felt sure the rule for FA cup ticket allocation was you have to give the away team 15% of the seats. Pretty sure their ground has more than 20,000 seats!

    Pfft.......

Just cost me £184 return to London today.

    £57 is a snip.

I think that will be the case.

I am pretty sure there is a 15% requirement of away fans in the FA Cup? That's 6,200 at Stamford Bridge.

A debate going on within the clubs twitter feed and someone had an email from Chelsea saying Forest declined 15%

I'll sack it and go to the other two now, as I won't have much choice.

Why would they club decline the full allocation and then say they're expected demand to be huge? Would like to see an explanation for that one.

I can make a good presumption.

The club have decided to once again fuck the cup off to concentrate on promotion.

Do they really want 6000 there watching the 2nd string and kids getting smashed 6-0?

Apparently it’s to do with policing, there are several other London clubs at home on the same day and other stuff going on

They have to give full allocation unless it’s against police advice
