How can I explain this to my four year old?

    Pantilimon’s fault.

Certainly a sell-out, but how on earth did we find another 500 seats in a well segregated game.
Only thing I could think of was maybe more in the hispitality boxes. I believe the large suite box in the Trent End holds 500 alone?

Likewise,as tight as this league is,bar Stoke,I can’t see anyone outside of the current top 10 coming good..So we see what we are up against, and though it’s still early doors I’d put money on the top 6 finishers coming from this pack...Forest are not 5th by luck, and that’s given we’ve had those 10 drawn games..

Preston may well be a tougher proposition than SwipsIch,and we all know that there are no easy games in this league, but if we are true promotion contenders there’s only one result on Saturday!

Forest v Preston No End......Another Forest Victory!

Villa will be one of those currently in the top 10 that you speak about that will finish top 6 for me.

Hoping for a West Brom v Villa draw tonight. I think we'll narrowly beat Preston tomorrow, 2-1 with goals from Grabban and Lolley.

How will Preston goalie Rudd fare after his howler last week against Brum? Dogged determination to keep a clean sheet or butter fingers?

Should be easier than explaining it to an American (which is best not done anyway).

What this thread needs is a debate about why Yates, Worrall, Brereton, Smith etc aren't getting regular games....

Kick-off 24hrs away but doesn't hurt to get in early Ravi. A Preston 1-0 win wouldn't be the biggest shock of the Chumpionship to date.

It is not an unrealistic expectation to find yourselves at third place tomorrow. You only need to win (expectedly), and a good combination of other results (WBA, Middlesbrough,Sheffield Utd and Derby do not win).

A third place would put the Derby derby under an entirely different light.

Thats got to affect you , Trick will be to close him down very quickly and force him into early errors.
I am pretty sure goalkeeping is 90% mental ability, Many a great goalkeeper has crumbled and lost confidence.
David James, Joe Hart both better keepers than him that have suffered.
I would shoot at every opportunity and force him into mistakes.

That's what Shilton thought about gambling, isn't it? And judging by his track record at it he may well have been right.

Plus a debate on our strategy to not be bottom of the Fair Play League...

We just sing "The league is upside down, the league is upside down..." and hope we get away with it?

A good old strong arm shoulder barge when he goes up for a cross would be in order!
I remember one time when an away team keeper made a howler at the City Ground.
Des O'Connor was top of the Pops with "Careless Hands", and the Trent End made the keeper's life misery by singing it to him throughout the whole of the second half, every time we attacked.
Boy was he rattled... I can't remember who it was, but I think it was v Arsenal.
Yes, young Forum members, we used to play Arsenal when we were in the First Division... and we used to beat them!

The Ipswich keeper was taking pelters before our game against them then he spilled the shot early on for Grabban to score.

Top keeper but once they lose confidence a lot don't ever recover. It's such a demanding position mentally, you will always need your manager to back you up all the time.

I remember some bell end Winterburn

for Arsenal doing the wanker sign to everyone in the Trent end, I and the other few hundred folk that seen it was outraged, The fucker only did it because of the 10ft high fence that was keeping us back.
