It was always going to be on Sky and subsequently moved day or time or it might have remained as it was a 1pm kick off, it comes as no shock really.

Good old Sky, common practice now I'm afraid.

Does make me laugh how they move it forward to avoid pubs opening and then TV gets to move it to an evening game. Interesting bit on that police notice saying it’s out of their control. So they can control moving it from 3pm but Sky can override that with no police say so?

The Police will do as they're told. Sky are in charge.

Fixture was originally moved from 3pm on police advice:

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Question: this season: who contributes more money to NFFC? Sky or the supporters?

    (Hint: it's not Sky).

Who gets the money from Sky? The EFL.

Who is the governing body for Forest? The EFL

Police can only give 'advice' and cant do shit unless a court order is issued.

Happy with this. I am away that weekend and now I can also go to the match.

Stopped it being a day out now and ruined the most important away day for me.

Was looking forward to being on my 4th pint by 9am Saturday

There is an obvious solution to the SKY problem.
Cancel all subscriptions to SKY; never bet on SKYBET.

Another solution to the problem of SKY: when SKY over-rule the police then the police should withdraw all cover for the match.
SKY should be obliged to fund and provide all security needed to ensure that there is cover both in the ground and in the vicinity of the ground, pre-match, in-match and post-match.
In addition any claims for damage resulting from fans being a bit naughty, in the ground and in the vicinity of the ground should be remediated in full by SKY.
And pubs and the like who choose to close pre, during and post-match within a 5 mile radius of the ground should be compensated in full for loss of earnings... by SKY.
Fuck SKY - they are the architects of sporting destruction.

It's terrible when sports become successful isn't it

I certainly wouldn't still be going to games if football in this country was still the decay ridden minority interest sport it was before SKY and the Premier League came along. If you liked those mostly empty stadiums then fair enough, and I understand why it appealed to young men, but there is no way I'd be subjecting myself to that every other week in my 50's.

Thing is we all moan about Sky moving games but then demand promotion ASAP so we can get a slice of all that Premier League TV money

    Can't have it both ways

My Dad and his mates still used to go well into their 60s.
You young people - no appetite for discomfort.
In my day we used to get up half an hour before we went to bed, and have to lick t'road clean with tongue

As much as I admit it's very annoying, it's just something up with which one must put

I am not craving promotion to get a slice of the Dirty Digger's Dosh.
I am craving promotion because in my youth Forest were in the top flight, and I want to see us there once more before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
