Not really spent a fortune as far as fortunes go. Net spend of much less than £20 million and now net spend of nothing (not including any fees).
As for a wide player Alf, I don't think a suitable one was available. We have cover in key areas now.
Most of us didn't think that promotion this season would be a walk in the park; if we fail, then I would be amazed if feelers had not already been put out for suitable players to push us on next season.

We don’t have a second left back and if he dosen’t play Grabban or Carvalho there is nowhere near enough goals in the side to challene playoffs.

Yeah, I hope so. I still think we're in with a slim shout, but regardless we should be looking for the next Grabban/Lolley for next year.

Whatever the rights or wrongs of the soap opera that is Nottingham Forest, it's good to be in the top half aiming up than looking down at the relegation trap door.

I'll take a top 10 finish this season ready for another go at it next season with further reinforcements.

How many decent wingers have other clubs signed in this window? Players we can afford, that is?

Other complaints are for full backs. How many did we try for and how many turned us down to go elsewhere?

Not like going to Tesco and buying an orange with hundreds to chose from.

Jefferson Montero and Jacob Murphy both went to WBA in the window aswell as Johansen, 3 very good signings there. Whether or not we could afford them is another question but would have liked us to go for Montero.

I like the sound of Milosovic.
Bonatini will hopefully give us something different.
Pelé could be the dynamic muscle in midfield we need. Equally could be a dud.
Really not impressed with the signing of Wagué. Hope he’s used as back up. That’s if he can stay fit.

Delighted with Yossi Benayoun, Pele, Peter Bonetti, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Molly Ringwald. Cracking window IMO.

We can't compete with WBA parachute payments and the wages they can offer.

They look nailed on to get promotion or at least you wouldn't bet against them and they have the financial power to offer a wage we simply can't get near to.
