Default Leicester City Owner in Helicopter Crash

The BBC have reported that Leicester Cityís owner Mr Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was aboard the helicopter when it crashed into the car park shortly after 2030 hrs last night.

Although he hasnít been reported as dead, I canít see how anyone could have survived. What a terrible tragedy.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

A horrible tragedy. No one stands a chance in an accident like this.

Looks horrific. Very little information about how many people were on board or if anyone on the ground was in harm's way.
Clearly there's been some of life. Just hoping it's not too many.

I hope by some small miracle he's still alive but I fear the worst looking at that.

    Doesn't look survivable, that mess.
I appreciate they have to be careful but surely BT sport can review the after match discussion footage and it'll show who got on the helicopter?
If there's nobody hurt/killed on the ground , THAT will be a miracle.

    Not good this.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

They probably handed it to the police.

Although the pathetic journalists all over twitter looking for stories will no doubt be trying to get that info before the police.

With the close relationship between Forest, Burton and Leicester I hope there will be a dignified and appropriate response from clubs and fans on Tuesday?

There’s CCTV all around the ground, they’ll know who was on board. Apparantly the chairman, his daughter and two pilots, possibly someone else.

I've got family in Thailand, going there next week. I'd been watching the news about the kids rescued from the cave being at Manchester United and thinking how lucky they were, then hearing this. Terrible. Condolences to everyone who may have been affected by it.

As said many times, nobody should go to a football match and not come home.

Not much to say really, you just never know when your number is up. Simple stuff like going to a match and then being snuffed out.

Always breaks me up, life is so precious.

A Brighton fan collapsed and passed away as well. Very sad day for football fans.

You lose all ego when you realise just how fragile this gift is.

Though it was for a rival club he brought thousands of people joy. Hope he's found peace.

The only positive I can think of is it looks like it's come down in an area where there might be no one on the ground, but not expecting to hear of any survivors on board.

By all accounts, an extremely generous man with his money. With a kind spirit and integrity he’s created a unique family atmosphere at Leicester and given away many gifts.

Makes it all the more sad.

Somewhat ironic that it came down right next to their neat memorial garden.

One gift of 2 million to Leicester hospital. Blokes like him put the Phillip Green's of this world to shame.

Having seen that picture that car park isn’t the main car park it’s a piece of land that they took off British Gas I think and apparantly they think the pilot may have intentionally tried to put it down there, which is incredible if true. The memorial garden is the other side by the river.
