Nothing sells a game to me more than being able to go fishing.

The fishing is lifted straight from Far Cry 5 (maybe it was done elsehwere prior, I don't know but FC5 definitely used this), which is fine, because it's a simple, yet satisfying mechanic when you haul in a biggun.

I need to practice my hunting. I haven't worked out how to find perfect pelts and obtain them etc.

Same fishing mechanic was in Yakuza 0, I think this is just how games do it.

Ending of Chapter 2 was brilliant, the swimming joke about John cracked me up

Game is an absolute masterpiece. I must admit I ended up finishing the story really fast, I had every intention of wandering round seeing the entire map, doing the odd side mission and stranger quest (played Skyrim that way and it took me months to finish the story) but this story got me hooked, brilliantly written and a great cast of characters. Had a lot to live up to from Red Dead Redemption 1 and didn't disappoint at all.

    Hmmm.

This is right up there with Captain Oates ĄI think I might be some timeď speech.

ĄI believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialismď

It's copying off the disc, its nothing to do with your Internet.

Hmmm... According to my router, itís also chugging a bloody huge amount of data off the net as well? Maybe itís doing some update or something for the downloaded content.

A Blu-Ray Dual Layer Disk is 50GB if I remember rightly, so this is more than that, or itís content is compressed?

We are onto the second disk now, so letís see.

It's 2 discs and 80gb total, mine wasn't connected to the Internet when I installed it.

2 blue rays and 89 gig of data plus the first patch. Depends if you wanna play the modern games or spend two hours loading pong?

Unfortunately I changed my hard drive so most the day was spent changing game discs and waiting hours for all the updates. I just left it on and checked on progress every now and then.

I was pissed it took so long but honestly, I think it's worth it.

All Iím going to say so far is...

    Holy Shit.

RDR2 hasnít just moved the bar, itís launched it on a rocket to the International Space Station, and Iíve barely scratched the surface. The scope and concept is immense and totally immersive.

Oh, and keep away from Bears.

Starting my second play through as the first one I wanted to smash the story before spoilers.

Excellent prequel to the original. I really think you will experience it in a completely different way if you have played rdr1.

Also interested in trying out different endings in this play through. Will be doing the side quests this time.

I’m at 46%. Been grabbing a couple of hours here and here but I’m always super thorough with games and like exploring and doing everything I can. Misc stuff like fishing and hunting can wait til after the story though. Been some fun missions and characters so far.

I finally came across the KKK meeting, threw a stick of dynamite smack bang in the middle of them and they went flying everywhere HAHAHA

That was the best/funniest thing I've done so far in the game and it was completely random as I was going back to camp. Well worth the $15 bounty put on my head.
