    Disagree 100%.

In titles published by the big publishers (so called AAA games) having microtransaction can, and often does, alter the core gameplay mechanics and feed back loops. The game's developers make the game grindy and boring to encourage you to pay to skip the boring content. I take issue when a game I've paid money for is deliberately made dull to get more money out of me.

If that's the case then I'd stop buying games.

Some cool, stylised previews of some of the parts of the map.

Just bought a 49 inch 4k telly for the bedroom. The 60hz is terrible for competitive PC games, but I bet Red dead is going to look absolutely gorgeous on it.

I'm looking out for a 4k 40" TV atm. Hope a good offer pops up soon.

    https://www.costco.co.uk/Electronics...rt-TV/p/275177

Worth the £15 annual charge itself.

Cheers. I was hoping to get one with a centre stand but that's worth thinking about

There's a sharp one with a centre stand for £30 more I think, just search the site.

Unfortunately I don't have a card, I have to go as a guest of my brother.

It seems most 4k TVs have legs so I might look into changing the TV stand/chest of drawers

    Currys have this one

    https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and...67271-pdt.html

When I looked I ended up with a posh sony one as all the cheaper ones had legs at the ends that were wider than our tv unit.

Debating whether to pre-order the special edition or the basic edition. I'll want all the story content, not bothered about online so definitely won't be shelling out £90. £75 is a bit steep but I guess £25-30 of that is a "season pass". Might just get the basic bitch edition and pick up bits I want when they become available.

I need to measure my space, but I only have (iirc) a 80cm chest of drawers for it to sit on. It's probably centre stand or nothing.

My gap is 100cm, so I can only get a 40" I think.

    Where's that tape measure...

I think that's a good idea, it doesn't look as if anything extra is paramount to the experience (imo)

Yeah, there's a bank robbery and a gang hideout that come with it, sounds like you do them for some decent loot or something. A game like this, I'd rather work my way through absolutely everything myself from scratch. I always 100% every GTA a couple of times and RDR was no different. Not fussed about MP but I'll have a look

Sounds similar to my front room, because it's in a alcove I could only go 43" and Sony had the centre stand that doubles as a wall bracket.

I’ve only got the smaller size PS4?!

I changed out my 1tb HDD for a hybrid 2tb first day I got my Pro.

But even so, I've had to delete stuff to make sure :R

I've been finishing and deleting games I've had ages making room for Forza Horizon 4 and Red Dead but FH4 is only the usual 60-70gb-ish though.... 105gb is another level. That can only mean good things right

Can you point me to a guide to doing this Sam, preferably one where it’s possible to keep the info on the current drive (don’t want to lose any progress!)

    I’ve a feeling I might need a bigger drive...
