I can imagine there'll be a manual labour game soon, there's already a farm simulator FFS. you'll spend 8 hours stamping out licence plates, go home, get changed then to the pub to pull and eventually you'll be working every hour to avoid going home and changing nappies
Thought that with RDR2. These long jaunts out into the wilderness.....feels like a watered down version of what I do with the dog most nights.

I've only played RDR2 till you move to the 2nd camp. I liked it but BF5 came out, I'm a fucker for a 1st person shooter.

Walked into the room the other day where the playstation is and my sons playing fortnite.

"Theres a new mode dad"
"Oh right who you playing with?"
"Luke" (he lives about 50 yards away)
"Whats the new mode?"
"Hide and seek"
"So you are playing hide abd seek with Luke?"
"Yes"
"Right, off..."
"Why"
"You want to play hide and seek go knock on his door"

Saw Luke's dad a few days later told him... hes a gamer too and even he shook his head.

Finally finished it all. As close to video game perfection for me.

Loved it from start to finish and absolutely surpassed my expectations, and I expected a lot hence this thread.

Now I need to talk about it. Separate thread with spoilers?

Good idea.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Or you can use the SPOILER tag:

Like this:
This is a Spoiler. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
You put the word SPOILER inside square brackets, then your content, then /SPOILER inside square brackets.
One of my favourite bits of the epilogue is the mission where you kill that Laramie bloke. The cutscene just before you pull the trigger resembles the box art of Red Dead Redemption. Very cool
Yes it does, and apparently deliberately so, according to Rockstar.

Fun fact that bloke is voiced by Steven ogg the voice actor of Trevor from GTA V.

Also are spoiler tags not working or does it just not work on the mobile client?

Just made it to 100%...

Wasn’t anything too difficult, little bit of work and time involved (although nowhere near as much as I thought it would be) but I left the bandit and weapons challenges til last and it was fun taking my honour level from the top to bottom and shotgunning the shit out of everything in sight.

And amazingly I STILL found things I hadn’t found before like the missing Princess poster.

I really hope the do some single player DLC.

One from the weekend, I appeared to get into a gunfight with the headless horseman, who - despite me blowing his head completely off - kept getting up and fighting.

Three cheers for the lad, that’s proper commitment. Henri Lansbury, take note.

The guy with the head is dressed how I imagine Bryn dresses. I presume foam hand is on the left hand?

Games are too fucking long. >.<

Not sure if I'm enjoying this or not, I keep failing missions because I'm not doing what Rockstar want me to do. Why introduce all these mechanics if you just get an auto fail whenever you don't behave like they want you to, and it's not always obvious what they want you to do. So frustrating.

It's still my game of the year, but now the dust has settled it has serious flaws. A masterpiece of storytelling and graphic fidelity with the gameplay of an early 2000s title .
