    Default Tyrone Mings

    The Mirror

Bournemouth planning move for £5m left-back Diego Rico
Bournemouth are making a £5million move for Spanish defender Diego Rico.

The Leganes left-back, 25, has caught the eye in La Liga and is in line to head to the south coast this summer.

Bournemouth plan to sell Tyrone Mings to Nottingham Forest and replace him with Rico after opening talks over a fee.

    Another left back is needed.
I assumed it would be Fabio but...

It only takes a second to score a goal.

    This guy is quality. Blimey.

Would also fit into the theory I have that Robinson is a backup

Not a slow 6’5 either. He can shift when he gets going.

The obvious concerns are his injury record.

He's missed a lot of games through injury since joining Bournemouth

Would be a great signing, but I'd have thought a right back would be a higher priority. Not complaining if we get him like.

Isn't he primarily a CB??...guess he adds cover for both CB and LB

Whenever he's played at the CG it's been at left back.

had major injuries (Knee and Back) the last 2 years, would be wary about this, maybe a loan with an option if he holds up for a season

Can we sign him with a warranty? Don't fancy paying 5M for someone that's had major injuries.

Other way round. A LB who covers if needed.

No ta. Only played 15 games in 3 seasons, could be another expensive biscuit.

When he is fit he is an excellent player. If he hadn't been injured he'd be way out of our reach.

5m? bournmouth wants to recoup the money they paid for him and that's 8m and then use 5m to buy the LA Liga left back. Can we buy that left back instead?

Agree but if he could get fit Eddie Howe wouldn’t be looking to offload a talented 25 year old defender.
Need to be really careful here.

If he can get and stay fit, he'll be the best full back in the league.

I'm quite pissed and I don't know if I've read that right. 5m? Or they want to pay 5m for a different defender? Mings was playing with one of our lads recently in some kind of 5 a side thing.

It doesn't mention a fee. Just that they want a new LB for £5m and will sell Mings to us.

    How true is anyone's guess.
