I had one of those a few weeks back. It came as gift pack with a glass so thought it wouldn't be great, just a gimmick ale. I was pleased to be wrong, very nice drop.

There is a Saddlers 'bang average TV show' beer that's meant to be crap.

I found a website yesterday selling loads of Sierra Nevada's that I haven't tried, that's 35 quid gone. Got 10 bottles, so for 3.50 that's not bad.

Sierra Nevada IPA isnít too bad.

    A nice refreshing beer.

I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialismď

Yeah, I got that one without even realising it was a tie in as I don’t watch Pesky Bleeders or whatever it’s called.
Thornbridge are a top brewery though, aside from the Sheffield Wednesday beer they produce.

I'm a big fan of their Pale Ale and California IPA, despite Tesco's and Morribobs doing amazing with their craft beer selection I still think it's hard to beat what Sierra Nevada do.

In this order I got their Stout, Torpedo Extra IPA, Porter, Tropical Torpedo (I got 3 of these, I love tropical IPAs), Kellerweis, Fantastic Haze Imperial IPA, the Bitburger collab and the Hop Bullet. I'm proper excited.

Sierra Nevada are one of the ‘OGs’ of Craft - before it was ‘cool’.
They’ve never sold out, still committed to quality and it shows in the taste of the beers.

I've been a big fan for years; I really liked them, Brooklyn and Samuel Adams but I've found Brooklyn isn't as nice anymore and Sam Adams is harder to find.

You used to be able to get the imported stuff in supermarkets here but I've not seen it in ages.

Sam Adams licensed their Beer for U.K. production at Shepherd Neame...my least favourite brewery.

Ah, I had wondered who had started doing it over here. Explains a lot, wonder if they were behind the new branding? Both them and Brooklyn changed their branding and then started to taste worst.

I quite like Shepherd Neame's Double Stout, very chocolatey.

I don’t mind their dark beers...but all there pales and mid-colours have a taste that I find repulsive, not sure where it comes from, possibly the yeast, but I know I don’t like it.

My daughter has bought me a box of Speights Old Dark ale after I mentioned I drank it when visiting the South Island of New Zealand 20 years ago.

Not a Summer drink but a nice stout.

Gin does that to me as well. I was drinking Tanqueray one night listening to some tunes and reading online, I felt fine, my daughter came back from work around 10.30pm and started talking to me and I had triple vision looking at her.

Dilute, as I am on site, I hate Fridays on site when the weather is good .

But going back a few posts, I had a pint of Sierra Nevada IPA on tap in London, it was about £6 but worth every penny. Also the Sam Adams you get in the state is far better than the shite you get over here.

When I first went to Arizona my friend took me to this dive bar, sawdust on the floor, jukebox in the corner sort of place. He got me a bottle of Miller or something like and it was about $4... They had one tap, I asked why he didn't just get a pint in, and he told me PBR is generally drank by hicks and hipsters so didn't think I'd be bothered. I asked the bar maid how much it was a pint, and she said $1.80....... We must of had about 10 pints each of that stuff and you know what, I thought it was pretty decent! Anyway I sure Tesco were selling little multipacks, so I brought some for like £6, looked on the can when I got in, brewed in Ireland.... I fucking hate that, you pay premium for what you think is an imported beer and you get the licensed stuff, really pisses me off.

Also, I one day hope the bring Miller High Life out over here, the Champagne of beers.

I always imagine you stood with a pint of Dark Fruit talking bollocks in a beer garden somewhere with shades rested on on top of your head.

Talking bollacks is a given, the shades, no. Dark fruit, probably not either, Strongbow if I am in a pub.

Haha, fuck strongbow. Stowford Press is a far superior common cider.
