    Fulham were 10th with 17 points from 11 games at this stage last season.

    Even Wolves were only second only two points above Sheffield United. Three above Bristol C, Leeds and Preston.

    Who might be playing opponents of the field for fun in the second half of the season nobody knows at this stage.

    On the flip side it also means there are no teams you fear, i think this league is easier tbh all it will take is being solid away and clinical at home and decent run of form and you almost guaranteed top 6.

    The 'marathon not a sprint cliche' works here. A quarter of the way into the race you want to up with the chasing pack. The breaks start later on. For now you only need be in position to go with it when they do. The class of the field often won't usually be obvious until the second half. But they always are in the end. You don't get a blanket finish.
