'No end product' is cliched and sloppy terminology from pundits to describe players who don't score when they have a shot on goal.

Since football began, great players have missed chances. Some players do everything brilliantly apart from score, even putting in man of the match performances, so to describe them as having no end product is doing them a disservice I think.

Very good coach I always liked him, he was always straight talking and a good guy but I'm a little bit puzzled about his comments these days.

Although I've been very critical of him on here in terms of his media comments, on the one occasion I've been in his company I found him to be an affable, down-to-earth bloke, who clearly has an in-depth technical knowledge of football, far beyond my own, obviously.

However, my observation of his personality aside, it's not difficult to conclude that he does have an issue with the non-British influence on our game, especially in terms of team management. It's clear that he harbours a large amount of resentment that this ever-increasing influence has significantly contributed to him no longer having any meaningful employment in football, other than bits-and-pieces of scouting now and then, and a pundit role on a local, two-bob TV station with a relatively tiny audience, in contrast to some of his peers on much larger platforms.

Was almost a club legend that first season in League One after he and Frank nearly took us to the playoffs.

He seems to have had a chip on his shoulder about something recently though, not sure what.

The moment Charlie started picking BD's son/nephew in the u21's during his most recent spell at the club, was when he lost any semblance of credibility.

In support of those 2, they did give me hope of being a professional footballer, in my 40's.

Yep, he had a great run - It's a massive old chip on the shoulder isn't it? Brush it off Charlie.

Still very much a bench player currently, be interesting to see if he starts the next game. Would expect him to be getting a run in the side soon.

He didn't sparkle for me today.

'Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings' - Salvador Dali 1904-1989

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

At least being on the bench means we get to sing his song more I guess

Getting a bit worried it aint gonna happen with Carvalho. Silva has hit his straps far quicker & looks much better equipped.

JC flowering just seems to be getting further away, he's got the odd spark in him, but running games feels a mile off.

    Always been overrated

Carvalho wanking: funny as a meme but that's it

Weaponising his name and song, using it as a stick to beat managers with when things go wrong and spunking ourselves over his every touch when he does play... hilarious

Said he wasnt worth £13m last year and a lot of people got very triggered over it.

He still isnt worth £13m... probably £3m.

He's a class act who is currently struggling to deal with the uniquely-unforgiving intensity of The Championship after a heavily-disrupted pre-season. I'm firmly convinced he'll come good as we approach the second-half of the season.

Kinda sadly have to agree with this, I really want him to do well but so far bar the odd moment of magic it hasn't happened.

The second point is also far too real, I struggle to sing that song because of the way it was used against MON .
