I had 2 rounds of egg and mayonaise sarnies - a liberal amount of Tabasco sauce in the eggs (which were on the soft side of hard boiled).
Washing it down with a lovely glass of Cab Sauv!

    Yum.

Cheese is the one treat I miss the most.

Might have to cheekily slip off my perch tonight and indulge myself while the young doctor is away

    Couldnít give up cheese
Meat I would kiss but can do without

    I love cheese
This was a full fat soft cream cheese but with a salty earthiness from the rushes balanced with a raspberry coulis

Not one of my better culinary moments today...
Didnít know what to cook and saw some thick cooking bacon had been opened, so diced it up and cooked it with broad beans and spinach.
About -6 on Barryís Moisture Meter.

I wont try to be so clever next time and get the baked beans and eggs out.

A poached egg on that and it would have been cracking with plenty of black pepper or even a bit of chilli.

Butterbeans, a drizzle of olive oil, freshly cracked pepper, zest of lemon.

    Simple, but delicious.

Rump steak seasoned with olive oil and pepper and fried in a skillet, served with sweet potato cooked in rosemary and drizzled with balsamic glaze.

ĄI believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialismď

That looks fantastic. Why would it give him the shits Keith ? Surely not just the red meat? Iíd imagine the butter beans linger for a while.

I got home to find nothing for tea, so chopped a bit of chorizo, fried it, scrambled some eggs with it and had it in a burrito with hot sauce. Didnít last long enough to take a picture mmmmmmmmm

    Oh FFS.

Nice bacon. It's a struggle to get decent bacon here.

It was lovely , You only got 6 rashers but they were lovely and thick , Not a drop of water came out of them as they are dry cured , You would have loved them.
My mum used to freeze bacon etc pack them in a cool bag and take them on the plane to Northern Cyprus when they had the villa out there.

I took a cool bag full of frozen bacon and sausage out for my mother in law when she had a place in Spain. The airline lost it, found it again and sent fucking Manuel to deliver it. I spent 40 minutes in the pouring rain chasing the daft **** up the main road whilst he pulled in and out of every apartment block except the right one.
    Never again.
