That said, the continual misuse of 'of' is so basic that that I genuinely can't stop myself.

Karanka confirmed he was never a serious target:

Was expecting him to score a hat-trick against after being told he was the best striker since Van Basten and was a big game player because he scored 2 goals this season in the cup

Thought he looked decent to be fair. He's not in Grabbans class, but he looks like he's got the appetite for it.

Agree, a busy player who is determined to make the most of his limited talent.

A laughably shit player based on tonight's showing.

Still no league goals in 2019 either. Him and Waghorn for a combined £12 million... ouch!

Went down in my estimation tonight definitely.

Still think he's young enough to do well though, and would still definitely rather have him than Soudani.

Dreadful. What a waste of money. Him and Waghorn.

Outplayed by Waghorn, which isnt the biggest accolade.

Marriott was as anonymous as I can remember a player in a game. He also wastes a huge amount of energy chasing lost causes.

He offers no link up play whatsoever, clearly massively overrated by some. It was the same in the reverse fixture. His goal tally isn’t even impressive.

    Looked a fat **** too.

I'll bet thats a decent race between him, Waghorn & Brad Johnson to the front of the queue in the shaggers canteen.

I said above he's a busy player. However, you also have to touch the ball as well as run about madly.
