Chip butties on proper bread, thick spread of butter and lashing of salt and vinegar.

I also love mushy peas with mint sauce.

Listening to good music, live and recorded. Playing in a band, motorcycles, good comedy, occasionally the kids. ( Not like that you sick barsturds!).

Forest falls further down the list every year.

Hmm, it sounds familiar but I'd have to ask me Mam to be sure

My Nan was quite well known in that area, they named the park 'Peggy's Park' after her.

It's been two years since she passed now, right bloody miss her I do.

Your nan and my Mam were mates.

Your Nan also lived on Northwood, next to the community center before then knocked it down and built the new one down in the dip.

I was mates with your uncle C too.

Your Nan was a lovely woman btw, touched eveyone she met with her positivity.

No way! C lives in Cotgrave now. We don't see him much sadly.

What was your Mams name if you don't mind me asking?

My mum used to leave us with my Nan when I was younger so I got to knew everyone around there for a bit. Proper upbringing, scared me shitless. Fully understand your politics views now as it was proper shit when I was going up despite the elders efforts.

My Nan got to meet the queen on the back of it, she wanted her medal at the community centre but the police advised against it, so it's L's living room!

    Well, that escalated quickly.

It’s nice to know there were some old folk that knew Harold Shipman and survived

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Me too. Definitely one of my early stirings.

Saw her in about 2013/4 at the Isle of WIght Festival on super large, super high definition screen, close up. Gut churning.
