No club since May. Late twenties. 25 starts in last 2.5 years. Yeah, he seems to fit the current bill.

Since when was being 28 a negative?

3 years older than Dani Pinillos, was 1st choice at the club he was 2nd choice, 17 starts last season in La Liga, 7 more than Dani Pinillos managed in his last season in La Liga.

If you're clubless for 9 months at 28, it's not a good sign, and it's just another signing from the scrapheap. I'm also not sure what invoking Pinillos' name is meant to prove either. I don't think he's great either.

not much that we've done in the last 3 weeks. Not sure what's worse, that or thinking absolutely everything is great.

Just out of interest - and to make it absolutely clear, it's your prerogitive to be negative about every one of the signings - has any single thing happened over the last couple of weeks that made you feel even slightly positive?

yeah, was good to see Scunthorpe let some players go around deadline day which will hopefully lead to more opportunities for Ryan Yates to play.

For whatever reason, I don't think Tails, Barry Cooper or Sarah Clapson have checked this forum since this morning.

I might consider affording him some credit if it happens PZ.

A strangely odd reply, but fair enough.

I’m waiting for a Fawaz tweet.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

'Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings' - Salvador Dali 1904-1989

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

Wow. We haven't had third-hand-once-removed rumour for sometime.

Awesome that it came with shirt number too. Gold!

Not commenting on its veracity Otis, just observing its type.

Another thing about our mystery man is that his name translates into English as 'John Sources'.
