Brilliant this season but I worry whether he'll want to come here with things as they are.

Nobody deserves to be on the same money as him, except Grabban and Lolley as they are our 3 best players in my opinion. I imagine LG and JL’s new deal makes them top earners. You pay peanuts, you get...... Gil Dias

Wonder what country he’ll be in today....top player need him back, when we were good he was brilliant. When we were poor he still shone.

As I said in another thread, he said he thought long and hard about it, and decided to move his kids to a school down here. So I think there's a chance he's willing to stay. But if say, Villa go up and offer him a deal, you can't blame him for taking it.

I'm not sure playing him at left-back was doing anything to help him decide his future is here. But hopefully he stays.

Only 2nd to Lolley in POTY for me.

Whilst you can't always measure value in goals and assists, as Colback gives so much more.

Lolley has 8 league goals an 17 assists. That is just mental production. I personally think he just edges Colback. Perhaps it's a bit blinded by Lolley being our player too, and also his Uni Semi-Pro to fantastic pro winger transition too.

I was surprised by how little we missed the ginger-tonsured little bugger today.
If as is rumoured he is on £40k per week, and wants that going forward I'd have to say... thanks for your input this season, but "no thanks".

Easy to say after a convincing home win against a static side, but Colback is key to our midfield. Away matches he'll be particularly useful, and if no Prem sides are interested, he should definitely be an option.

Why would you compare the two? It's like me comparing an excellent 2005 Bordeaux with a pint of Harvest Pale. Both very good but because they are different there's no need to compare. I can have both, when the time suits. We can have Colback and Carva in the same side.

Glad you can afford a 2005 Bordeaux.

Yep, in this Division, only the parachute payment teams could realistically pay him that.

One of our best players. Really hope we can sign him permanently, but I think we'll struggle.

I do apologise was just having an opinion as to what I’ve seen from the both this season. Both midfielders both my opinion. Il be sure to post these on a forum next time.

If we could get him this season, then no reason we can't next. Only spanner in.the works is if another club is willing to pay him 40k a week or close to it.

Of course Forest might say, how much do you really want to play for Forest. If you want to, don't drag it out.

MON will work his charm on EM to fork out the higher than ave Champ wages and keep him here next season. They have history at Sunderland, MON is a big fan so expect this to be one of the first summer deals to be sorted out.

Just lock him in a room with the Assistant Manager for ten minutes.

He‘ll be willing to sign anything, after that.

Yeah, that is the article I originally remembered, hence my earlier post presuming he was actually available this summer?

Now I come to think of it, I‘m sure either Fray or Chippers has discussed that with him after a match this season, that’s he’s available after this season?
