I think that was just hearsay, I would of thought someone like Karanka will look at all options especially with his connections

Fair enough. The way it was peddled after Warburtons sacking I assumed there must be some truth to it.

I would also say, from his videos at least, that he is much faster

If he can play football, he’s above Traore.

you mean NFFC's Traore or some other Traore? because Traores are a big family with many players, a real football family http://www.transfermarkt.com/schnell...traore&x=0&y=0

It seemed a convenient rumour that got constantly repeated that sat better than a poor run of form imo

But we need a left back and if he's cheap enough maybe worth a punt

You have to feel sorry for old Mother Smith. She must have a birth canal like the Gotthard Base Tunnel.

The latest on the Greek press about Hult is that Forest's bid is probably the only one on the table (Anterlecht's interest was probably a ploy by Hult's agent to raise the bid), but PAOK may be interested: they desperately needed a left back and they were stupid enough to buy a good Brazilian player (Azevedo) who, however, hasn't played for a while and now looks like this:

Given that this guy will obviously need at least a month to lose weight, they're now considering buying Hult as well.

I think this will all be sorted out before Monday.

The left foot wasn't the only part fitting the adjective 'fat'.

The decision on Hult's situation at Panathinaikos is today and it looks like the club will win the case and he can't just leave for free.

Strange, I don't know the ins and outs of the case but surely if the club aren't paying him then it's a breach of contract on their behalf? Unless I'm missing the point altogether.

I wonder if it is a case of having enough proof he went AWOL and trained with another club in Sweden.

Who’s deciding? If it’s anyone in Greece, they’ll have bought the decision they want no doubt.

You got the general idea, although it is not a matter of buying a decision; there is a concerted effort to save Panathinaikos (too big to fail, etc.) and sports courts follow the cue.

There is a 48 hour delay now.

Can't see this happening. It would be to risky for us.

Just a guess, delay as potential agreement sorted. Time to get it sorted prior to it going to court?
