The real fans that stuck by the club through hard times get priced out and replaced by plastic fans. That's why the atmosphere is garbage at Prem games.

I was talking to some Wolves fans a few years ago in Fellows Morton after we played them and they said they were glad they got relegated from the Premiership. They found it expensive, boring, games being moved all the time and said they preferred the Championship.

    Makes you wonder.
The championship is the most entertaining league in the country by a long stretch. It's tight, competitive, anyone can beat anyone else but it still has a little bit of quality about it.

I'd love to reach the PL do a year or 2 and then go back down again. When the model clubs coming up are the likes of Stoke City and you see what they have actually achieved in terms of winning things over the last god knows how many years (NOTHING!) it just seems pointless. Your ticket rates tend to hike, you have 10 games a year where bar the odd really special day you're pretty much nailed on to lose and you're ambitions are finishing 10th again, you just end up thinking what is the point?

If we took what you wrote as an indication of where you are from it wouldn't be Greece, more like planet Billy Bollocks.

Given the choice I'd much rather win the FA cup than get promoted

I've met plenty of English people who struggle to read and write.

I think what Leicester did a couple of seasons ago show anything can happen (not that I believe it will again!) I'd happily go up and keep a constant squad, get some experience and maybe even become a yoyo club, rather than go up and overspend like Bradford did. It takes years to recover.

Not only would I love to spend at least a few seasons watching us in the Premier League with my dad, but also my nephew wouldn’t be met with such bewilderment when he tells all the Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Man U fans of his age group that he’s a Forest fan (he lives near London).

Of course, all the young Arsenal fans will know who we are after last weekend.

Some time back I helped out a cover band as a stand in whilst they found a new guitarist (wasn't for me, all stuff like One Direction & Taylor Swift. Easy money but no fun)

Their singer was in his early 20's and claimed he was determined to be the next big thing, and that said band was just a stepping stone. "this is all i want to do with my life. I'll give it everything" he'd claim.

He missed 3 rehearsals on the spin, 2 of them coz "Man City are on telly"

Plastic as fuck from tip to top. Made Miller look like a stalwart.

    Thirded

This sadly is the best I can hope for in my lifetime.

Promotion would also be good and it's what we have to aspire to as fans.

I don't think it's necessarily what us fans want that matters. Would Marinakis settle for stability in the Championship - I suspect not.
