Default R.I.P. Ray Thomas of the Moody Blues

    https://www.theguardian.com/music/20...mas-dies-at-76

I have been meaning to post this since Ray's passing.
The Moody Blues were one of favourite groups - the music was fabulous, the album covers sumptuous.
Thomas's vocals and all round musicianship were wonderful.

His flute solo is an iconic piece of that whole era; did he ever tell anyone what it actually was that the knights in white sat in?

    RIP Ray

    Sad loss

I fell in love with football as I was later to fall in love with women,. Suddenly, uncritically giving no thought to the pain it could bring. - Nick Hornby

When friends of mine lived in the UK they met some bloke in a pub and he told them he was a drummer in a band. My mate thought he was just another bullshitter but accepted his offer of after pub drinks at his house.
He couldn't believe it when he saw all these gold discs framed on the walls. Turned out it was Graeme Edge.
Apparently they all stayed friends for years.
    Anyway I digress, RIP Ray.
