Chelsea will end it with nine men.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Ref has got most things right, just the complete ignorance to the theatrics that grates.

A great afternoon of injury stoppages interspersed with a bit of football.

    Best team won.

And Fat Frank didn’t. I’ll take that.

    Heartbreak for Matthew McConaughey.

Chelsea's season now ends with a game they start three down in.

Aye... and the build up began on the telly first thing in the morning.

And it was on BBC! and ITV too.

Congrats on qualifying for the Europa League Arsenal.

Aubameyang with the cup was quite funny.

Also, I think Ian Wright is class. Wish he was my uncle. Used to hate him once, I think. But then as a teenager I used to hate everybody who scored against Forest. Before I passed puberty and realised that is an awful lot of hate.

I wonder if Xhaka will get banned for conning the ref?

Trophyless season for Flampard. Another one of those and the knives will be out.

With a few good additions, I wouldn’t rule them out winning the league. They’re definitely starting to improve.
They’re a mid table team, Man City or Liverpool wouldn’t give you a thank you for any of their players with the possible exception of the fella that scored today

Probably best to reinstate those laws and do away with this pathetic shite

I thought not at the time. But now I'm not sure.
She can stay there until she's learned to sing properly.

One of the opera choir who sung the national anthem would have done a better job of it.

I don't know the rules that derive from the Laws of the Game any more and it doesn't spoil my enjoyment of the game because nobody else seems to know either.

I mean, there are some sort of rules which have a vague connection to offside, handball and other offences and if I see something happen on the field which looks as if it might be an offence, I shout in a sort of knowledgeable way.

If it's given, I nod sagely and if it isn't I blame the referee's myopia.

    On the roof, yes.
    Today, no.
    She was recorded IIRC yesterday.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Why was she on the roof? Does the altitude improve the voice?

In her case the only thing which would have made it better is not doing it.

There's a real gaudy cheapness to the way teams "do the Trophy Lift (TM & (c)SkySports Vomit Department)" these days.

Here's how you lift the biggest prize in European sport with great dignity:

And it was real metal back in those days. Not like this modern metal.
