Northampton vs Dierby has the old-style Cup „magic“ of a potential banana-skin, an upset, a real proper „cup shock“ were a markedly inferior team has the opportunity to upset a better, more successful side?

„The Cobblers“ are going to have to be on absolutely top-form to ensure that such an upset doesn’t happen to them!

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

I stop paying attention once we're out, until the final.

I remember Derby losing at Crawley a few years ago in the FA Cup. Good times.

Brentford v Leicester on BBC1 now.

Brentford playing their second team so they'll be ultra fresh on Tuesday.

Leicester 1-0 up against Brentford reserves. Doubt we'll see West Brom or Fulham field strong sides this weekend either.

Not just us who see it as a distraction from the league.

Being the sublime presenter that he is, Lineker is patronising Brentford with just about the right amount of his usual smugness.

Moyes was obviously always going to regret saying winning "is what I do". Just a matter of how soon.

You do better than me, I don’t even have any interest in the Final these days. Shame because I used to love FA cup final day.

I paid attention to the Brentford game wondering if I'd get to see how they perform before Tuesday, until I realised they'd rested all the first teamers.

No, I just wish they’d try to pick competitive games rather than the same old big teams
