Have no idea how this one will pan out, or who will be in charge for this one. But more of the effort that was shown today and another decent performance would be great, can't ask any more than that.

Lets tear Villa a new ring piece and make them mop up the mess with Angela’s beard.

Saturday Villa winning 1.0 against Peterborough at half time. Lansbury comes on as sub for second half. Peterborough win 3 1.
    Just saying

    After the Lord Mayor's show.....

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Even if we lose, if the same effort is there as was on display against Leeds and Arsenal, I won't complain.

    Banana skin coming up!

If we give it some welly we can win this; we are on an upward curve of confidence and they must be looking back and wondering what the heck happened.

    Go for it lads.

    Bridcutt for Vaughan.
Otherwise keep the same starting XI and lets have Vellios on the bench... and let him get a good 25 minutes playing time.
I hope Brereton is buzzing again for this one.
And I hope Clough gets a decent run in the starting XI - the lad will be a class act for us if nurtured.

Are we up for this one.......?

    New Manager - check
    renewed hunger - check
firing on all cylinders - check (except for Worrall)
Forum toys back in the pram - check

2-0 to the reds (and the pony tailed villa girl getting kicked to fuck and sent off for retaliation)

I didn't think he did FA Cup 3rd round matches. Mind you it sounds like he didn't.

Many years ago I was entertained in our Company solicitors' Executive Box at Villa Park when we got a 1-1 draw courtesy of a Steve Stone goal.
Among the other guests was not only the Kennedy twat, but also a much more pleasant Roy Wood, ex of the Move and Roy Wood's Wizzard (to name but a couple).
At that time the different Exec Boxes were put into a hat and the first pulled out were invited to sit in the Villa Directors' Exec Box.
My hosts' box was drawn and we took our seats alongside the Villa Directors.
I suddenly became persona non grata when I leaped from my seat to celebrate Stone's goal.

Bit like last season at Ipswich. The local publican moved to Suffolk from Nottinghan, a great Forest fan. He managed to persuade the brewers to give him a couple of seats in one of the posh boxes; when we scored after about 20 seconds we were escorted out to the Forest supporters section.

Roy Wood is one of the very few famous people I have ever met. Very briefly and after a Move concert in 1969, and mainly because the girls I was with wanted his autograph.

I got stuck like that, too. George Michael got on the aircraft with a few of his 'mates'. The girls wanted an autograph, but were too shy to approach his group so muggins was deputed to do autograph duty.

Unfortunately I didn't know who he was so looked on the load sheet to check. They print the names with surname first, so I went up and called him Mr George. Better than calling him Michael, I suppose, but broke the ice, actually a nice bloke.
