    I think Steve Foster might just edge into “before my time”. I’ve certainly not heard of him although he looks same era as my earliest football memories so it must be a close-run thing. Is that Luton? I don’t remember them being good when I was a kid, although I am aware they were decent in the 80s

    Brian and Mark Stein, what great little finishers they were.

    Their family lived near me when I was growing up.

    Mark Stein walked out of training when he was told he was sub, I think. Nearly missed it altogether.

    Remember a cracking goal Mark Stein scored at the CG to put us three-nil down at home to Stoke. That's when we were dropping toward the div 2 relegation zone two months into our season 'on loan' to that division. Imagine the internet's reaction to that situation now. I suppose Clark's start was the equivalent to Di Matteo's at Villa last season.
