You imagine that Celtic like to think they get to have the pick of the bunch when it comes to upcoming Scottish players. It's only good for the Scottish national side that their players will hopefully get to play to a higher standard by not signing for a team that didn't lose for 69 games in a row

Money will always change a youfs mind. But, yeah it’ll probably be better in the summer anyway when we most likely will have more of a budget with players leaving and what not.

This is what happens when you don't overpay for crocks who no one else is interested in.

We're going to lose out sometimes, but that's not a bad thing, it means our transfer activity is done under the right intentions - quality, at the right price, that don't have injury history.

We may lose out 4 out of 5 times, but seen this summer in McKay - sometimes your second choices aren't that bad either.

I kind of feel like McKay's importance to the side will only grow. At the moment, we're not quite completely fluid, but give it another couple of transfer windows, and someone like McKay who can find pockets of space and slice teams open is going to be a lot more use than it is at the moment.

Also think Warbo is giving some players their final chances - like Mills and, like Carayol.

McKay's is likely to be an ever present next season imo.

Yep, the last chance thing is spot on. This season was always going to be shifting as many of the senior players as you can and give the ones that stay the chance to earn their place for next season.

Next summer will see huge movements, I imagine we will do a lot of work early again.

Actually, using that logic, perhaps the reason Vellios isn't playing is that Warbs saw enough of him in preseason to know he'll lead the line next year for our promotion run.
He signed Murphy as a short-term plan to integrate Walker and Cummings and Brereton.

Please don't mention 'short' and 'end' when that picture of Kenny Burns' tackle is still haunting my dreams.

Not in that way. I know what I'm seeing and where to find it. Just a wierd thing that always makes me look twice. Look, look away, look again.

    Anyone else?

Yep. And they were a lovely pair. Probably my favourite of all time. I used to spend hours holding them, and looking at them.
