Any other JRPGs you've got your eyes on? I've just finished Tales of Berseria & Tales of Zesteria, both brilliant. Some of the banter is top notch.

I have been waiting for a remake since PS3 days!

I am currently playing Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3, I have really enjoyed all three of these games. Typical Japanese cheese, can get a bit drawn out when every character has to chip in to every conversation, but it's proper turn based stuff.

That certainly looks very good, you can tell it was made exclusively for the latest gen from its appearance. Is there any rumoured release date yet? I cannot find anything to suggest when it will be.

All the gaming media folk who went to the Final Fantasy VII Remake event in London are saying there is something massive coming next week but they cannot say what. I wonder if the demo will be released on the original March 3rd release date.

I liked it, there is more to it as you have to build up certain attacks and you have to switch characters for certain enemies. I tried to mindlessly slash away and ended up burning through my potions. Mind you I liked 15 so don't take my word for it

The camera was a bit off though, I was shooting at enemies off screen at points but there are that many camera options that I am sure with a bit of fiddling it would be fine.

The back and forth between Cloud and Barret was good and it was pure nostalgia with some of the enemies. I cannot wait for the full game...

I had a day off and that filled the bit between getting up and eating lunch quite the treat.

Thought it was decent. It was fresh, with hints of FF15 , but also still quite FFVII with being able to freeze combat if you so wish. Hopefully the rest of the game, once it opens up, is even better. My only real gripe was the music. Being so used to the original soundtrack, it felt strange hearing it with bells and shit. Perhaps it will just take some getting used to.

Can't wait for the actual bloody thing to release.

Plus side? They've nailed the atmosphere, the acting, the music, everything. Feels like the game you know and love.

Bad side? I really really really really really didn't like the combat. It was fiddly, illogical and didn't feel in any way in control of everything.

I managed to beat the demo but at no point did I feel like I knew what I was doing besides hammering square and giving potions.

Unfortunately it's everything I feared from FFXV.
