In all seriousness he'd be a fantastic keeper at our level, he was first choice at Everton for the majority of last season kept 10 clean sheets in 20 league games (conceded 20 goals). Absolute giant of a man, the only thing I've ever noticed as a negative for him is that his positioning is sometimes a bit dodgy but being so tall with such a wing-span he often gets away with it. Would SLAY!

Definitely capable at this level, would be a good signing. Plenty comfortable enough with the ball at his feet and always played for sides that play it from the back.

Good keeper, but wages would almost certainly be an issue; he'd be highly sought after if he becomes available so we'd most likely lose out to a club who can pay bigger wages than us.

    Don't worry.

Within 25 minutes of his first start there will be posts on here telling us he's not good enough because (insert reason here) is shite.

I estimate 16 posts in that time.

This fella any good at keeping the ball out the back of the net, or don't that matter anymore.

Can't deny this would be a good signing, but fucking hell I feel for Jordan Smith if he gets bombed out.

He's not going to be 'bombed out'. Stop being so melodramatic about it. He'll be grateful he got a run in the side at such a young age because no one else was fit. He's done well, he'll have learned a lot, and be much further on in his development than he would have been. It's not as if he'd be starting for any other Championship team.

Learn to kick and throw a ball properly then Smith will get in the side - thats of course if we sign another keeper

Smith even admitted himself all he knew from his loan spells in non-league was to see how far he could punt it

That wasn't what I was suggesting. Only that how it's panning out is not really a negative for Smith.

He's such a decent keeper, this would be amazing if we could pull it off.

You can only ever assess these situations by putting yourself in the position of the player, fair play to Smith if he can take the positives.

Far from doing much wrong, he's kept us in more than a few & the Ipswich contribution was huge.

We were up in arms when Walker got the Freedman treatment, I'm struggling to see how this is helpful to Smiths progression. Under the circumstances, I don't see how dropping him couldbe anything other than a demotivator.

What little is wrong can be ironed out by playing games.

I wish! Alas, it's more putting 2 and 2 together and getting lucky.

I did see a lad on Twitter say he saw Younes Kaboul wandering round West Bridgeford earlier, he swiftly deleted the Tweet
