Hopped on a bus in Vancouver a few years ago and spotted a guy wearing a Forest scarf. I said 'hey..You Reds!'. He gave me a look that said 'yeah, whatever...f##k off, mate'.

At the Isle Of Wight Festival this summer had a long chat with a guy wearing a Forest shirt. He was an old timer like me and was more interested in talking about Ian Storey-Moore than anybody else.

Agreed. We should be butter than this

“All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.”

Saw one in Oakland Theme Park near Tenby last Summer. Well, I thought it was unusual.

The motorbike taxi driver who won the scuffle to drive me into town from Chau Doc bus station on the Vietnamese/Cambodian border told me he was a Forest fan as soon as he found out I was English.

Never been to Tenby. Just had to google where it was. So there. And it turns out it's 30 miles further from me than the WFCG is. So there (again).

    Oh FFS.

I was going to say something similar, but wasn't sure of the distance, thought it was about 50, but now I know.

Saw a fawaz air condition service van in dubai in jan this year, even took a pic to post it on here but gave up... i'm "techincally challenged"
Cant confirm if the driver even knew who forest are... but seemed semi-relevant to the thread.

I lived in South Africa 1991 to 1995. On the day we played Peterborough to get promoted we went to a Braai (BBQ) and purely by chance met a local Joburg Forest Fan. Ended up sat inside listening to the game on a radio that somehow managed pick up some very crackley commentary. Had a great day, got hammered, went home and never saw the bloke again.

Also went back to SA for the world cup. After arriving in Joburg, we drove to Port Elizabeth where we planned to meet some Hull City fans to swap rickets but when we got there we couldn't contact them so decided to go into the nearest bar.
Upon entering we were met with the chants of "oh Nottingham is full of fun.... you reds...."
Absolutely brilliant feeling after such a long journey. Had a great evening!

I notice the bus has "Help Defend" on it.

They obviously recognised the need for good Defenders.

I just found that one of the best bars in the world according to several relative lists is Milan's "Nottingham Forest".
