It’s Forest‘s main hooligan firm; Bryn Gunn off here is the „Top Boy“, and they specialise is ambushing rival „firms“ before and after matches by slapping them with multicoloured foam hands.

Their name, „The Curry Crew“ derives not only from their regular habit of meeting up for a pre-match Indian, but also from the cruel and unusual punishment meted out to rival „hoolies“; once they’ve punched them to the ground, they take turns breaking wind on the terrified victim, which, as you can imagine after a pre-match Vindaloo, Bhuna, Madras or Jalfrezi, is a horrific assault.

Even Nottinghamshire Constabulary‘s findest quake in fear at the mere mention of their name.

Them jeans look like Levi 501?

Classic. I had some on at Forest one game and one of the young lads asked me “what’s with the flares”?

Flares are supposed to be the big fashion trend next year.

    Again!

I think it's great that I'm fashionable every decade or so

Never had you down as wearing flares Keith. More bleached drainers with turn-ups and docs. With the odd evo stain here and there.

I don't and never have, but I also don't wear skinny jeans either, far too old.

I have a mate who has his own jeans making company based in Cardigan in West Wales, the town used to have the biggest jeans factory in the UK, but it closed down, similar to Calverton many years ago.

He's re-employed some of the former staff in his own project making top nothch denim once again.

    Expensive, but beautifully made.

Anyway, I have massive thighs from years of cycling, so they make me my own bespoke jeans, a little fuller up top to fit my chunky legs in

Quite an inspiring back story to the brand too.
