Feel like with the amount of clubs interested in him & Marriot it’s becoming less and less achieveable.

Either that or their chairman is talking bollocks and very few are actual interested.

We arent in any rush to bring in players all bs to sell season tickets. Nothing going on behind the scenes.

we should sign this guy up if we are selling carvalho. would serve as a decent direct replacement , 8 goals and 16 assists last season , believe he played a huge part in marriot scoring so many for peterborough. has reportedly only a 2 million transfer clause in his contract.

We should buy him so we can have two playmakers on the bench. This guy previously playing with Marriott means that he might be also be good enough for Alf.

    For sure.

    Having another cracking season.

2.5m release clause in his contract apparently. Absolute no-brainer for me. Would be at the top of the hit list.

Boro have bid 500k for him! Derby in the running too

Stat just come out that he's contributed to 128 goals in 211 games. We should be at least putting our hand in here.

He’s also a massive bad egg in the dressing room. Huge personality problems.

Haven’t we had enough players with those problems?

Depends on the nature of them. I've no issue with "bad eggs" if the manager hasn't. McGugan was a lazy twat throughout his career, and a good manager turned him into a class player who took us to the top 6.

We've enough "good attitude" shit players here

Hadn't heard about that but something clearly not right, he's been outperforming League One since he signed for Peterborough about 5 seasons or so ago and nobody has taken a punt.

Not sure where he fits for us currently either. We don't play a number 10 and we already have Lolley, Ameobi and now Mighten coming through as left footed wide men.

This isn’t football manager tho mate, you have so many intangible aspects that poor attitudes can impact - especially given the way we win games, by narrow margins and fighting until the last minute.

If recruitment has decided his reputation doesn’t merit us going in for him, then I completely understand why.

Honestly even his public social media accounts make me cringe and the reports I’ve heard from behind closed doors (from a few people around the P’boro camp) have been that it’s only because they’ve made certain allowances that he’s ‘gotten over his poor attitude problems’ to paraphrase Darragh Mactwatony

The team ethic is primary and has been this season. The last thing we need is a twat undermining the togetherness and morale.

Theres a reason no one has been in for this player sooner. All the Posh players are ridiculously hyped up by their owner, which is why he has such a good record of flogging them for way over the odds.

Gavin Whyte, Jamal Lowe. Both better players than him and struggling in this league. There is a reason no one has bought this fraud with his "£2m buyout". All McAnthony waffle. Players signed from lower leagues should be younger than 26.

West Brom being linked with him now too though.

If he's good enough for them, I think he's at least worth considering.

It's a good point about his age. 22/23 would be ideal so they've still a few years to grow & step up to Champ/Prem level

"Linked" means little. We've been linked with about 20 players this month.

I'd rather we sign a Modesto choice rather than an over priced and over hyped player from Posh.
