Had a decent time of it over the last 3 seasons, scoring twenty odd goals consecutively.
Given the gulf in class between the Scottish 2nd division & the championship, Id be reluctant to spend 2.5m to find out whether he can make what is a sizeable step up.
Great goal record, but where does he fit in?
I would get your point if he wasnt 2.5 million quid.
Hibs are very much a big fish in the Scottish 2nd division, so he'll likely be getting more than hiss fair share of supply.
Impressive achievement but why punt a good part of the budget on the hope he can do it outside the pub leagues. There's other areas that are far more in need of investment.
Id back Tyler Walker to get close to them stats in Scotland.

Easy to stand out when you play for the equivalent of a pub team.
Remember Big Lars? Scored a million goals in the Dutch league. Utter shite in the real world.

It's from the rag but it's a source all the same I guess.
I don't know. Fans demand young signings from the lower leagues, we are linked with a young signing from the lower league and it turns to can he step up?

Hibs have accepted at £1.4m bid from Nottingham Forest for Jason Cummings with a 15% sell on clause.
Hibs fans reckon it'll be higher though as they knocked back £1.8m in Jan.
We paid £5m for Britt after one very good season in the league below. This lad has scored 20+ goals 3 seasons in a row and he's still a couple of months off 22. Add that to the fact McParland has a good record picking strikers from lower leagues. Just a case of wait and see I suppose.
if he's coming then we must be moving someone else on
sounds good though
Pork - Stuffing - Apple Sauce
Its not our lower leagues though is it?
Its lower leagues of an already glorified pub league.
He comes with a clean slate but with our financial restraints id say 1.4 million is a large slice of our transfer budget.
He needs to be good, FFP dictates we cant just be taking a punt.... now if he were free, thats different.
I have a good feeling about this one if true. Exactly the type of signing that pays off more often than not. I'd take a young, home grown, prolific striker over 'experienced' imports any day of the week.
It would signal someone is on the way out though...
Be sweet just to be able to take Neil Lennon's best player.
He's also left footed, we don't have a left footed attacker currently, unless you include Osborn. Judging on the past Warburton likes his forwards cutting in on their stronger foot. This lad could be an option wide right and cutting in or as a backup poacher to Britt.
An agent (supposedly) on that thread reckons it's done. Kenny Miller has tweeted it and now in Scottish Sunday. This looks like it may be a goer . Hope it is not a precurser to BB being sold.Logical though one young striker in and one out as don't really need forwards with what we have.
Given that we already have four capable forwards in Britt, Clough, Brereton and Vellios, it wouldn't make sense to spend money on another striker as things stand. If this deal is happening, then that almost certainly means that one of those four is going, hopefully not Brereton but sadly it probably most likely is.
Seems to me like the first sign of Brereton being on his way out.
