Do we see Cummings playing upfront with Britt or could he play as a winger? From what I've seen he seems like a poacher so quite similar to Assombalonga.

I don't think any Forest fan will complain if it's anything close to £1m. It's £1m with several addon clauses according to that link.

So, if I understand correctly, the good scenario with this signing is that Vellios comes back to Olympiacos, and the bad scenario is that one of your other strikers is sold?

That would be my take on it.

Warburton doesn't seem to rate Apostolos for some reason; a pity, as he has qualities none of our other forwards have.

Given Warburton's great record working with strikers, pretty exciting, this.

Think it's our defence and midfield where there's more issues that need fixing.

Would seem to indicate Vellios moving on, probably to Olympiacos, which is a shame.

But I imagine it would be cost neutral to us. 1.5m for AV and about the same for "cumdog"

If we sign this guy, then I would be amazed if we did not sell one of those two in the summer. We have no need for another striker (especially in the world of FFP when we need to strengthen elsewhere) unless someone is leaving, so this must be a replacement for someone we are going to sell.

Britt or Brereton? Tough question, the former is a proven goal scorer in this league but the latter is an exciting academy graduate who I'd love to see develop at Forest for a few years before he inevitably moves onto bigger things. I think Brereton is more likely to go though, going to be some very big bids for him over the summer that may prove difficult to turn down.

Assombalonga is a goal scoring machine & Brereton is regarded as a top prospect for the future and is easily a good Championship striker already, he looks like a jack of all trades striker, not a master at any but good at most. With Cummings cumming in it would leave Vellios as the obvious departure as he hasn't featured much under Warburton and I doubt he will in the future.

Whichever striker leaves assuming one does, at least we are fucking replacing them which isn't what we would have done under Fawaz.

Do you really think our scouts have only looked at his goals per game record and signed him!? I think they take a bit more time to judge a player before we sign them...

Looking at his goal videos , he's another poacher type. The issue for forest , we have nobody in midfield who can spot runs and play killer passes , will need to sign a creative midfielder who does that. The only player that is currently being linked to forest capable of playing killer passes would be kevin mcdonald and he could cost way too much. Need to find another jota or alex pritchard that won't cost a bomb.

Villa have a lad who could do that job.

I have to question the wisdom in signing someone who openly refers to themselves as "Cumdog"

Doubt they'll sell Hourihane when they've just bought him.
