Our women waterpolo team won their sixth consecutive title and went out to celebrate. Knowing how interested you all are in the sport, I thought some photos were necessary:

Note to self: Am I too old to take up water polo?

Where do we sign up VP?

    I‘m in, anyway.

On the topic of EM, he seems to be on a publicity run at the minute (a lot of it with the Mayor of Piraeus). Giving interviews, lots of public stuff including charity, kissing people in the street, he even set up his own Instagram page the other day - all fairly rare for him? What’s he up to GBG/karteo? Is it political?

Technically, he's just a candidate in the elections next week for an insignificant seat in the city council of Piraeus (the mayor is his man, and EM had already won a seat in the council in the previous elections). In reality, he is and has been for quite a while on a collision course with the government, which he openly accuses for all his troubles with the law.

He seems quite a character! Doesn't mind putting his head above the parapet.

One thing is for sure. He takes no shit. He said during his last interview that "when they spit on me, I don't bow my head, I fight back"
And that's exactly what he does.

Probably you've seen better but they don't score like our girls in the water. Imagine them dry...

We're about to sign a promising Portugueuse center back called Ruben Semedo. He was bought with 14m a few years ago, his stats are very good, his managers say the best about him, both as a player and as a character, he looks great on videos, we have agreed on a price for a loan, probably with an option to buy, the only slight problem is that Portugueuse courts have to authorise the transfer because the player had been convicted (and spent three months in jail) on charges of assault, threats, illegal possession of a firearm, robbery and attempted murder.

    This should be fun.

    Yep, he signed.

Any thoughts on Huddersfield's Steve Mounié?

He'll have a great time in Greece as a footballer with that surname
